Espace Ulys, the EURAXESS center of the Université de Lyon academic community (ComUE), is the support center for international scientists arriving at the Lyon-Saint-Etienne campus.
History
Awarded Euraxess Center status in 2005, Espace Ulys took shape in 2014, with the support of the Métropole de Lyon to facilitate the mobility of international scientists, in the same way as the Aderly agency does for expats/international entrepreneurs.
Espace Ulys is a shared service for the entire Lyon Saint-Etienne campus, contributing to the region’s reputation and attractiveness in conjunction with ONLYLYON.

The Université de Lyon is an academic community (ComUE) that boasts 11 members and 24 partners on the Lyon-Saint-Etienne campus and plays host to 152,000 students and 6,800 researchers and research professors. It is France’s second largest scientific hub.Visit the website
EURAXESS Network
Espace Ulys is a service center and member of the EURAXESS European network and EURAXESS France association. Established by the European Commission in 2004, the network is made up of more than 600 service centers operating in 42 countries. To receive support from Espace Ulys, you have to register with the EURAXESS database for international researchers. It is free and mandatory to register, and this registration outlines the terms of your stay.
